As we touched on in our previous blog, the consequences of COVID-19 brought about deep changes in how society will move around in a post-pandemic world. We saw the push toward micromobility move forward exponentially and here, at ACTON, we were prepared. We launched new services, offerings and product enhancements for our customers around the globe!
The consequences of COVID-19 brought deep societal changes, which we think will last long into the foreseeable future. Despite the setbacks, the overall industry grew at a clipping rate in the midst of a health crisis. Once the vaccines roll out and bureaucratic limitations are overcome, we see extreme growth and demand for urban micromobility. Especially, in dense cities where our solutions help move people intelligently from Point A to Point B, safely and efficiently.

With the demand for the M PRO exploding, we are also excited to announce that we have an army of Nexus eBikes launching in the United States, Europe and Latin America. We will share more details (and photos) in our next blog post.
If this could not be more exciting, our CEO, Janelle Wang, participated in our first Virtual Conference for the year at Micromobility World 2021. She, and an expert panel of mobility leaders, hosted a panel on “Path to Profitability” and shared key insights on how operators can create a sustainable business and enhance their operating margins, without sacrificing user experiences.
