It is a New Year and a new beginning for all of us. Despite the challenges of 2020, we are thrilled by all the data and the new technologies being launched across the eMobility sector indicating a very bright future for shared mobility in 2021.

As we touched on in our previous blog, the consequences of COVID-19 brought about deep changes in how society will move around in a post-pandemic world. We saw the push toward micromobility move forward exponentially and here, at ACTON, we were prepared. We launched new services, offerings and product enhancements for our customers around the globe!

The consequences of COVID-19 brought deep societal changes, which we think will last long into the foreseeable future. Despite the setbacks, the overall industry grew at a clipping rate in the midst of a health crisis. Once the vaccines roll out and bureaucratic limitations are overcome, we see extreme growth and demand for urban micromobility. Especially, in dense cities where our solutions help move people intelligently from Point A to Point B, safely and efficiently.

As we see this demand rising, we are thrilled to announce the latest lineup in our eFleet with the ACTON M PRO 3.0. The newest M PRO is a feature rich, IoT connected, eScooter platform, built for extreme usage based on the needs of our customers and end-users who will be traveling a little further than before. The M PRO is a premium quality eVehicle with an extremely long range, optimized firmware for the best incline rate with minimal operational cost - and we are happy to say the true lowest daily cost of ownership on the market. See the Tech Specs below:

The M PRO 3.0 is on its way now to Sweden, Ireland, Bermuda, Turkey, and select locations in the United States. Talk to our Sales Team to get our eFleets on your streets!

With the demand for the M PRO exploding, we are also excited to announce that we have an army of Nexus eBikes launching in the United States, Europe and Latin America. We will share more details (and photos) in our next blog post.

If this could not be more exciting, our CEO, Janelle Wang, participated in our first Virtual Conference for the year at Micromobility World 2021. She, and an expert panel of mobility leaders, hosted a panel on “Path to Profitability” and shared key insights on how operators can create a sustainable business and enhance their operating margins, without sacrificing user experiences. Some key notes of the panel were focused on:

  • The importance of quality hardware to reduce the true daily cost of ownership of the fleet.
  • The importance of operational excellence and valuable partnerships
  • Smart Software
  • Size and Location of the Fleet
  • Business Models

The most amazing part, Elon Musk (the man, the myth, the legend himself) sat in on our panel and commented on Janelle’s discussion! 🚀

Lastly, we are thrilled to share that in addition to launching our M PRO 3.0 we also launched a new website! Our team was hard at work through the month of December and early January to deliver a seamless web experience for our customers and partners. It features an all new CITIES, SOLUTIONS and COMPANY page.

To see how we can help you meet your goals in 2021, feel free to reach out to us here.

Onward and upward!
